A bunch of randomness

These are just random pictures I had on my camera that I decided to post. Basically, just to once again explain my absence. There's only one photo from Christmas, by the way I hope everyone had a great Christmas. I did. I just can't wait until I have a family of my own to start traditions with. Every holiday will be such a big deal because it's never been a huge deal in my family. Once we got  to a certain age the spark was gone. A few times we didn't celebrate it at all.

A few more are from Thanksgiving, the second house I attended, and just randoms. I haven't been posting because I simply have no one to take my pics and I have no tripod at the moment. I'm ordering one as soon as I finish this post. I'll see you next week.

A game called Circle of Death. Heard of it?

Black and White

american apparel top & bottoms| h&m boots| Forever 21 blazer & purse

I hope everyone had a great Thanksgiving! There is a lot to be thankful for.

As you can see I have a new hairstyle. I had been planning this cut for a while in my head. It did not turn out how I wanted it to at all, at least how I imagined it. It's simply just ugly to me. I already know I can rock all lengths of hair but this particular hair cut frames my face HORRIBLY. I'll be cutting it off and dyeing it blonde. Not now but soon.

Also, you can see a glimpse of my "new" family. My mom just recently got married and we spent Thanksgiving with her husband's side of the family. I'm pretty sure you can tell who my sister is and who my step-sisters are. My brother is taking the photo. We could barely stop laughing to get a decent shot. What were we laughing at? I have no clue. I was glad that we did not have a cold weekend. I was able to wear my velvet crop top and white blazer that I had been dying to wear for ages seems like. Oh, and check out my new shoes!!! I bought them specifically for work. 12 hours, no pain!

In Desperate Need

Forever 21 Pants| Boyfriend's Sweater| Forever 21 shoes| American Apparel tights

Okay, I know these pants fit super weird. I cannot tell you why I continue to wear them. Well, probably because they are still basically new. The sad thing is that I actually took the time to try these on in the store, seen how bad they fit and still bought them smh. In my defense, the fit wasn't as bad when I first tried them on. It's just I had been wanting a pair of skinny legged trousers for the LONGEST. The waist is SUPER huge! And then it gets really fitted at the bottom creating the baggy mess you see. Anyway, didn't want to waste the photos and it was FREEZING outside (reason for my weird faces), so they were going up! This whole look is just weird looking but whatever.

I've been going back and forth lately about what I want to do with my hair. I really want to shave it but just the back and sides. Recently, I've been thinking about a short straight bob with bangs and I want it to look choppy and edgy. I just don't know though. I'm so indecisive! I have until I get paid next week, which I'm in desperate need of. You have know idea. I haven't had a pay check for a whole month! I'm dying!

Oh yeah, I was super excited last night to see Obama getting re-elected last night! I'm not going to lie, I was super nervous. I was so proud!! I need to get Obama shirts ASAP! One for everyday of the week. I WILL be there for his inauguration! One perk about living in DC. So excited!

Hardly Breathing

American Apparel Sweater| H&M Drawstring Pants| Urbanog Heels

For the longest I have always HATED white pumps! I thought they were ridiculously tacky, but this year I've some how fallen completely in love with them! The shoes in this post are my very first pair and definitely will not be my last. I think they make any and every outfit look instantly chic. Sadly, it's getting too cold here to wear them often but they will be anxiously awaiting the spring to re-appear. Even though I'd much rather wear them in the fall/winter. I think it makes more of a statement.

I've got through my first week of work (kind of). I do like the job. I have no big complaints. Retail is retail. I will say the work load is a shit ton more. I work in a much, much bigger store than American Apparel and it's absolutely crazy!! It keeps me busy ALL day so it's fine. I don't really like the work atmosphere that much, meaning the people. I think it's because I grew up in the South and I am not in the South anymore. We're just much, much more friendly there. You know, good ol' southern hospitality. Not saying that my co-workers are mean little assholes, I have met a lot of nice people. It's just......different. It's going to take a little longer to break the ice it seems.

The title of my post is a song from Brandy's new album, Two Eleven. Currently on repeat and have been since I bought it. In LOVE with it and her!! If you haven't got it yet, YOU SHOULD!

I would never eat your homework

American Apparel Riding Pants| Forever 21 crop hoodie| Urbanog animal print heels

My absolute fav. pair of high waist pants! The riding pants from American Apparel. I have navy, black and I want the purple, gray and green ones. I really should have did that while I was working there (damn). These will run you about $84! And sadly I ruined the ones here with bleach stains (smh). You can bounce, flip, jump, kick, do a split and they move right with you!

This is actually a pre-planned outfit. I have work the rest of the week and can't post but this is what I will be wearing tomorrow. I'll just be trading in the heels for flats of course. It feels good to be excited for work again, that is if I get to go. A storm is suppose to be hitting tomorrow, so I'll see. Oh, and just as I was getting back into the flow of blogging again I have to give my (my meaning my boyfriend's) computer back to my boyfriend. My computer died a while ago, bless it's computer-y soul. So, the plan is to get a cheap little notebook laptop to hold me over until I can get another MAC.
