I'm waiting for you, excitement!

Today officially marks the end of June. That means I have exactly seven days until I have to be at new student  orientation and seven days until my birthday. I'll be in Miami on my birthday, turning 20. Nothing special, its just 20 after all. I am disappointed because I'm sure my birthday will be stressful instead of awesome and I'll most likely be annoyed. Worst of all, I won't be with the one person I want to celebrate it with.

Even though I should be excited, I'm not. I've just been waiting for it to kick in. I'm moving to an awesome city and I'm about to start studying fashion for God sake! But all I can think about is how alone I'm going to be and how much I'm going to miss my old school. Maybe it'll kick in once I get there...hopefully.

I took these photos when the sun was going down, so that should explain the shadows and darkness. I was also getting attacked by a swarm of bugs. I can't believe that I was able to sit long enough to take these photos. My legs were itching like crazy. Anyway, I'm finally wearing the tribal print blazer that I got from the thrift store. I adore it. I have so many ways I want to wear it.

Peach Blazer

When you see this background, the wooden fence, this would be me taking my own photos. I don't want any confusion. I get my sister to take my photos when she's up to it. This is an outfit from yesterday. For some reason blogger wasn't working last night, so I wasn't able to post it. I've been wanting to wear this blazer for a while now. I just love the color! I couldn't take a good shot to save my life though! I think the glasses are over whelming my face. They always slide down, never sitting on my face correctly.

Right now it's early in the morning, for me at least. I was awaken out of my sleep involuntarily, so I'm exhausted. When I stop being lazy I'll get up and fix me a cup of ice coffee.

Summer Casuals

I've been dressing super casual lately. Even though I can't stand it I can't help but put a casual outfit together. It's summer and it's hot! Who really feels like putting in the effort? I only do when I'm at school...that's when I have fun with my multiple personalities, fashion wise. I was so dreadfully bored with this outfit that I decided to wear socks with wedges. I didn't think I would like it but I did. I think it gave the outfit some personality.

I've officially reached 200 followers. I'm very grateful. I really appreciate you guys. Especially since you seem to be interested in my boring life...

Getting Better At This

I took these photos for the specific purpose of practicing so I can get better at taking them by myself. It actually wasn't hard this time. It was actually a piece of cake. Anyway, I'm spending all of my time reading twilight books and watching the movies. I was serious about the obsession. Also, I'm almost at 200 followers! I would like to thank you guys for all of your support. I really appreciate it and be sure to like the facebook page located above. Enjoy the photos!

I should really try to smile more. I look so mean..

My Narnia

I finally got around to doing a shoot to capture my braids. I took way to many photos. I hate when I have too much to choose from. I shot at this little park that's located in my neighborhood. I call it my Narnia. It reminds me of the The Chronicles of Narnia. Hopefully you've seen the movie so you won't be lost. Anyway, it was so pretty and surrounded by trees. I loved it.

The shirt I'm wearing is a DIY. Fringe is becoming really trendy and I love it. I paired it with a pair of high waist jeans that I got at the thrift store recently. I will be making them into cut offs, dying and studding them. Stay tuned for that. Enjoy the photos...

Almost a whole month has went by...

Of course you guys know that I post more often than I have this month. Especially, while I'm in school. I post everyday but the weekends. Well, I wasn't able to get on the internet for a while. I had to be patient while I awaited it's return. It hasn't been on for more than ten minutes and I'm already posting. I'm way too dependent on the internet! It's ridiculous! It kind of messed my plans up though. I had a few things I was excited about posting that I wasn't able to. Oh well.

I do have some things to update you with. I have a new pair of prescription glasses that I call "grandpa" glasses because of the style. You'll be seeing those a lot until I get more contacts. I got that particular style because I wanted a pair of glasses that would fit "my" style if I was obligated to wear them. The "grandpa" frames are perfect!

By the way, I'm in my empty room at home with my luggage all over the place. Don't mind that.

I also FINALLY got my braids! When I tried to do it the first time my hair wasn't long enough. I waited three weeks and now it's apparently long enough. They took me four days to do. I really took my time with them, and they're super long. I love them!!

These aren't the best pictures of them but I haven't had a chance to get a good shot of them. Since I finished, I've been wearing them wrapped up. I'm also wearing a new pair of earrings that I made.

While the internet was off, I took it as an opportunity to begin reading all of the Twilight books. I finished the first two books, Twilight and New Moon, in two weeks! They're so good!! My goal was to finish them before November when part 1 of Breaking Dawn, the last one, came out but I didn't know I would love it so much. I'll be done with the whole collection in the next three weeks! Did any of you guys read those books? I have so many things to say about those books. I wish I could join a book club just to talk about it lol. It's ridiculous how obsessed I am with these books!! It's very serious...I'm a HUGE fan now!

Last but not least, school! I start school July 11th. I have to be there July 7th, which is on my birthday, for new student orientation. Even though I'm really excited to study fashion I'm just now realizing how expensive this school is. I wonder if it's really worth it. I may end up back at Bethune sooner than I thought and just make this Mass Comm. degree work.

That's all I have for you guys for now. I'll be back later with some outfit post.
