New hair | Short & Blonde

top & shoes-forever 21| bag & pants-thrifted| brown belt- Marshall's

Friday night, on a whim, I decided that I wanted my hair bleach blonde. Well, the color didn't quite come out the way it was suppose to. It was suppose to be a white blonde color, like the color of Eva Pigford's new hair style. It came out kind of yellow as you can see. It's been quite a challenge walking around with this color because I don't know how I feel about it. It's a love hate relationship. When I'm not sure of how I feel about something, I let other people's opinions become mine. Not good. The response to this new hair color has been back and forth. Some people love it and some people hate it. I guess I must like it since I'm still wearing it. What do you guys think?

The red bow necklace is made by me. It's a little lopsided. It was the very first one I made.

Here's a pic of Eva Pigford's hair. The look I was going for:

  3. I think it looks nice. It's a very bold cut and color and only a few can pull it off, and I think you do it very well!

  5. I actually love it on you =) The tough part is going to be maintaining the new growth and watching for products that can make that gorgeous color go dull. When you wake up and look at it in the mirror and you love it, keep that attitude. Its your head. You did it for you. Forget about everyone else.

  6. Thanks guys! I appreciate your comments!

@Jay: Thank you for that! Sometimes you need encouragement like that to snap some sense back into you because I usually never worry about what someone else has to say. I lose sight of that sometimes...but no worries, I'm LOVING it now!
