Downtown Chic

It's raining cats and dogs here! I actually shot this post while it was raining so the quality sucks! Just a heads up!

This outfit reminds me of Erykah Badu for some reason. Seems like something she would wear. I love it to death. This has become one of my favorite outfits. I think it's really edgy and bold. I want to stick to outfits like this for a while. I have been getting bored with my wardrobe again. Typical me.

Cute & Casual

It was extremely hot yesterday! So, I wanted to keep cool as much as possible! Of course that didn't work. I still in enjoyed wearing these new thrifted shorts I got from the thrift store in Daytona. It became an instant fav. I can't wait to do some more thrift shopping so I can stalk my closet with beautiful spring/summer colors!

I've been spending my days in Orlando, usually out somewhere with my boyfriend. I only have a limited time with him. I have to go home to Virgina, while he stays here in Florida in school. Even when I come back in July I'll be far since I'm moving to Miami. So, we're squeezing the hell out of all the time we have!

The photos are suck-y. The sun was going down by the time I decided to shoot them. *womp womp*

Tribal Print Dress

Today was the last day of class for me and then I'll be leaving my school for good. Even though I'm sad, one part of me is very excited to be leaving. I'm closing a door to one adventure and opening  a door to a whole new one. I never thought I'd be going to school for fashion. Journalism had ALWAYS been the plan. Now I have the chance to see if a fashion is a career I really want to go into. But I already know the answer to that. Fashion is my passion. I live for it!

Before I get too excited, I still have to put in an application, turn in all the extra paper work, and withdraw from school. It's hard to believe I have all that to do when I talk like I'm already in. I'll be doing all of that tomorrow since I have nothing else to do.

This is tribal print dress is from forever 21. My mama actually got this for me for my past fashion show. It was for a African scene. One thing I'm glad to say is that my mama can shop for me without me being there. I absolutely love this print. I'm so in love with ANY tribal prints at this point!

My favorite song at the moment. I don't know why, but it relaxes me.

Casual Thursday

I'm addicted to making these skirts I have into shirts. I don't even know why I buy them. I hate the way they look on me. But the one I'm wearing below, I love the print! Today, I just wanted to relax my feet from heels. Walking around campus all day and then going to practice at night takes a toll on my feet. So, tennis and comfy clothes today.

People act so shocked when they realize, "she's wearing the skirt that I have as a shirt!" Okay, big deal. Why not? Why not make more use of your clothes? It happens to look better on me this way! Ever have people analyze your outfits every single day? Well, this is what I deal with on a daily basis. Not that it gets to me but it's the end of the school year now, are they not use to me yet?

The last two pics are me actually coming from class. A small view of the school of arts and humanities building.

I'm beyond over school at this point. I hate the end of the semester. It's always the most stressful. Why? I don't know. I've been keeping up with my work, but this is the time all of the teachers give big final projects at the same time. Ugh!

I'm off to the computer lab even though it's 11:15pm. I can't stay in my room and work, too much distraction.
